TMC Trucking Percentage Pay Program - Performance Pays!

We firmly stand by our belief that our unique performance percentage pay program (which pays drivers a percentage of the load they haul), will pay you more than a mileage pay program can. Over 80% of our drivers agree! Based on compensating a driver for the revenue they generate, TMC Trucking percentage-paid drivers are able to earn more money. We also offer a top mileage based program as an alternative to percentage pay, so drivers have the choice of works best for them!

Earn top pay after 1 full month in your truck!

Why wait for years and years to get a pay increase? With TMC Trucking you can earn as much as any veteran driver after one full month in your truck. The more you perform, the more you are paid.

Hiring Requirements

TMC Trucking strives to hire the best of the best in the trucking industry. We are always looking for professional drivers who meet the following requirements:

* 23 years of age
* Valid Class A CDL
* No more than three moving violations within the last five years
* Solid work history
* No DUI's or reckless driving less than five years old
* No felony convictions

Training Program
Our drivers manuever through a rigorous obstacle course.

We offer a comprehensive training program at the Des Moines, Iowa, and Columbia, S.C., terminal locations.

Our training program consists of the following:
Orientation:

You’ll get an introduction to the company, our pay structure, defensive driving, satellite communications, training and safety trip planning.
Load Securement:

Learn proper techniques and practice on loaded flatbed trailers.
Equipment Training:

Get familiar with the equipment you’ll be driving.
On-the-road Experience:

Spend time training on the road with a veteran driver.
Apprentice Training
Weeks 1-2

* 4 days orientation class
* 3 days hands-on load securement
* 5 days equipment familiarization

Lodging provided to you during the first two weeks of training, lunch provided the first week.
Weeks 3-8
6 weeks over the road training with driver. After you are finished training, you will be assigned your own truck.

* Training pay available during each week of training.
