Think Sharp - Drivers with a class A-CDL and 2 years OTR experience are encouraged to apply Monday through Friday from 8-5 p.m. CST. Sharp has a fleet of 160 late model Freightliners and brand new Peterbilts and driver friendly freight. Solo drivers start at between .29 cents and.30 cents per mile, based on experience, and teams at 38 cents per mile (split). Sharp provides all their drivers: medical insurance (75% premium paid), a matching 401 (k), $15, 000 life insurance policy, rider program, layover pay, weekly payroll, paid vacation, drop pay and something that can't be bought or sold---good old fashioned RESPECT.

Our drivers said in a recent survey that the most important reason they choose to drive for Sharp Transport is the trucking company's commitment to getting drivers home. During peak business seasons our drivers may be out for 2 weeks (approximately 7-8 times per year)

Our Drivers are assigned a specific tractor which they operate continually unless extensive service is required. If the tractor should be down for an extended period, the driver has the option to return to that tractor after repairs are completed. Our drivers are permitted to take the tractor to their residence.
