Health Insurance
Drivers and their eligible dependents will be enrolled in a full family, major medical group health plan. This plan is among the best in the industry and includes dental coverage. There is no premium for the driver or the family. Coverage begins after three consecutive calendar months of full time employment.
Time At Home...
Drivers who reside in the primary recruiting area can expect to be home at least 1½ days each week, mostly on weekends. We understand that your quality of life is important both on and off the road.

Incentive Programs...
Compliance, performance, safety, fuel and longevity incentive programs allow drivers to obtain a variety of bonuses, awards and incentives including "Sharkey Bucks" which are redeemable for merchandise through our business customers.
2% Quarterly Compliance Bonus - Makes drivers $700 - $800 per quarter for meeting criteria for limited hours of service/false log violations.
Performance Incentive Program - Quarterly incentive based on operational performance. Drivers earn "SHARKEY BUCKS" (up to $400 per quarter) which are redeemable for merchandise or at approved stores.
Fuel Incentive Program - A contest that rewards the TOP 10 performers on fuel economy with cash and apparel.
Safety Award Incentive - Yearly awards for no accidents.
Longevity Bonus - After 5 years with STI drivers earn "SHARKEY BUCKS" each year for meeting minimums on compliance, performance and no accidents.
Sign On Bonus - $1000 payable in 5 - $200 installments. Offered only 1 year or more experienced drivers who meet full time activity requirement with no late deliveries during each payout period.
Referral Bonus - The best referral bonus we've ever seen! $250 paid for each approved driver at first dispatch and 1% of your referred drivers gross revenue paid quarterly for as long as you and your referred driver are with STI.
Minimum Guarantee Pay Program...
Full time, over the road, experienced drivers are offered and can accept a 4 week guaranteed minimum of $2800. This guarantee pays drivers $700 every week for 4 weeks and on each fourth week the driver can receive the excess earned over $2800. If during the 4 week period the driver does not exceed $2800 of gross taxable pay, the driver will earn $2800 as a minimum guarantee as long as simple requirements are met. Drivers can cancel this agreement or stay on it as long as they want and are able to meet the guarantee requirements.

Our extensive fleet of tractors and trailers is among the most modern and well-kept in the transportation industry. We offer late model Mack conventional equipment, air-ride vans, reefers and flatbeds. And, all of our equipment is maintained by our in-house ASE Certified Mechanics.
