Lessors Trucking

Operating Policy

James Shapiro founded Lessors, Inc. in 1983. The company owned only one truck and has since grown to 180 trucks and 250 trailers. Lessors Inc. is a small but growing trucking company, we are proud of our drivers and independent contractors. Our open door policy is in effect at all times; for problems that may arise, for new ideas, or ways to help you and the trucking company succeed in our business venture.

Lessors, Inc. is a 48 state irregular route common carrier. We have operated successfully because of our commitment to our drivers and our customers. At Lessors, Inc. service to the driver and our customer is number one priority and we look forward to continued success by working together as a team organization. A profitable partnership between the trucking company and our drivers insures the highest quality service for our shippers.

Currently we operate on a first empty loaded dispatch system. We use a team manager dispatch system. We do not assume any form of regular delivery patterns except as dictated by customer convenience. Currently we operate only the upper third of the United States Going Coast to Coast with an Emphasis on the East Coast. We also run between Minnesota and Laredo, TX. So rest assured you can get a long haul to the West Coast, or South Texas so if you want it.

All drivers and independent contractors shall be responsible for the movement of all types of freight. An honest effort will be made by all drivers to handle a variety of freight. From time to time drivers shall find it necessary to take a less than desirable load and shall do so in the spirit of equal and shared responsibility by all and in fairness to fellow drivers.

We are members of the TCA and LMTA. Lessors, Inc. holds a “Satisfactory” Safety rating from the Department of Transportation. We are extremely proud of our drivers and their safety record.

We operate 2003-2005 Model year Freightliner Columbia’s, 387 Peterbilts, Kenworth T2000’s with owner operator spec’s. We trade our fleet every 3 years. We pull 2001 or newer air ride Utility and Great Dane trailers with Thermo King, or Carrier smart reefers. We trade our trailers every 4 years. We operate only the latest in equipment and technology. We use Qualcom for customer convenience and driver satisfaction. We are very proud of our fleet and our drivers who represent us.

We have the miles and the freight to keep you loaded and rolling. We do not sit trucks. If you sit, you need to sit at home with your family not in a truck stop.
