We specialize in temperature-controlled regional and local transportation and storage of refrigerated and perishable items. We have a fleet of company-owned trucks and owner-operator drivers. We have freezer, cooler and refrigerated dock facilities and also maintain a fully equipped service center and well-stocked parts department.
Our warehouse can accommodate unexpected O.S.D. freight as well as those loads in which the customer was not able to honor your appointment. Our professional staff can have your freight off, rescheduled and redelivered to ensure that your customers and their associates have their freight quickly and efficiently. Our History
Calvin E. Summers founded what is now C. Summers Incorporated in 1961. The focus, then as it is now, is to provide quality local cartage, transportation and warehousing of refrigerated and frozen foodstuffs.

The family-owned trucking company expanded and added a service and parts department early in its history. In 1969 it was incorporated as C. Summers Inc. Since 1961, C. Summers Inc. has continually reinvested back into the company not only upgrading, but by leading the way in new edge technology.
The business is based in Elizabethville, PA, which is where its refrigerated warehouse and storage facilities are located. We specialize in temperature controlled freight shipments.
