Driver Training Program - Tuition is Free!
Just four weeks to a new career!
MCT Driver School students come to our school to learn how to drive, but they leave with the skills for a whole new career and a future. We support the career paths of our students with programs and services that keep them moving at a profit. Something that really excites us is when our MCT Driver School students build transportation careers with us, progressing to become independent businessmen and women.
We’ve been training thousands of men and women to become professional truck drivers since 1973. Sure other firms have begun to offer training, but MCT has the edge on quality and reputation. Why?
Low student/teacher ratio: Class sizes are kept small to make sure students get all the instruction they need to be successful. With four full-time certified instructors, we offer personal attention, both in the classroom and behind the wheel.
Excellent curriculum: Our students graduate with the skills and professionalism they need for successful careers. Your knowledge will keep you safe and your job secure. Customers, law enforcement officials, and other trucking professionals respect the training in service and safety MCT students get. See below for what you will learn.
Quality equipment: You’ll learn how to drive using late-model equipment so you’re ready for the equipment you’ll soon be paid to drive. Our trucks are customized so you can ride along and benefit from observing your instructor and your classmates behind the wheel. We have enough equipment to give you plenty of time when it’s your turn to drive.
Nice facilities in a friendly town: The MCT Driver School is in a new building located on the MCT campus in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Nearby accommodations are comfortable and affordable, many with discounts for MCT students.
Experience at work for you: MCT has been teaching men and women for over 30 years, not only how to drive, but how to become professional drivers. There is a difference.
Tuition is free: You invest your time – just four weeks – and we’ll pay the tuition, providing you remain a qualified driver with MCT for one year.
What will I learn?
How to operate the equipment
Value Driven Driving
The Department of Transportation rules and regulations, including logging your trips
How to care for the equipment
MCT company procedures and customer service
Students will be prepared to take the Commercial Drivers License test in their states
What happens after the four-week training?
This is when the rubber hits the road and the cash starts to flow. In other words, you start getting paid for your new skills. You will be placed with an experienced driver trainer who will work with you in real world conditions to further build your confidence and skills.
After passing a road test, you will be qualified to drive independently and your pay will increase. You may also have opportunities for additional earnings down the road by training other driving students yourself!
