Commercial License (Class A, B, or C)
A commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for anyone driving a vehicle that weighs more than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), carries 16 or more passengers or transports placarded amounts of hazardous materials.
Commercial Learner’s Permit (LPC)
A Commercial Learner’s Permit will authorize the person to operate a commercial motor vehicle for learning purposes when accompanied by a person who is at least 21 years of age and who has a CDL for the class of vehicle being driven.
